Getting Around

The best way to move around in the city is by taxi.

Taxi fares from the Dubai international airport to the city centre cost about Dhs30 and onwards.

Taxis can be hard to get during the day due to the heavy traffic jam. Therefore, make sure to ask to your Hotel to book your taxi beforehand, if possible on the day before getting around the city or before leaving for the airport. Taxi lines may be quite long also at shopping malls.

Public transportation by bus is not recommended.

A Metro line is currently under costruction.
